What You Can Expect
As the Associate Software Developer in Houston, Texas for ENGIE’s North America’s Global Energy Management & Supply (GEMS) Group, you will work alongside a software development team to design and develop web and cloud-based applications using the Microsoft .NET framework and Azure platform. Every day, you will report to the Director of Solutions Development to assist with meeting goals of the team’s transformation through implementing redesigned systems and processing using the latest digital technology.
What You’ll Bring
· A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or MIS curriculum and a minimum of two (2) years of experience with C# and .NET frameworks in a professional work setting; In lieu of a four -year degree, you should bring a total of a minimum of four (4) years’ experience in which you have gained an understanding of software development where you have designed and developed web and cloud-based applications
· Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server
· Understanding of how to use Azure services such as Azure App Services, Azure SQL, and Azure Storage
· Knowledge of Git or other version control systems
· Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
· Ability to troubleshoot and debug applications
· Accept and perform code reviews based on defined coding standards and contributes to coding standards
· Possess the ability to coordinate with product owners, architects, and system owners in the testing of new features

· This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
· Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license
· Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
Compensation
Salary Range: $74,500 – $114,195 USD annually
This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
