In the heart of our dairy factory of Belgium (Rotselaar), you will work closely with diverse stakeholders, such as financial (operations, industrial and material controllers) and operations departments (activity, planning, master data and project managers) as well as other European countries (purchasing, marketing and transfer price controllers and EU Operation finance teams). We are looking for a motivated  Junior Business controller (VIE) to join our dynamic Operations Controlling team supporting the Plant-Based category . Based in  Wevelgem , you will play a key role in supporting the operations controlling team in forecasting and reporting activities, helping to drive operational efficiency and cost transparency across the factories.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·  Assist in the preparation of monthly reporting and quarterly forecasting
·  Collaborate with various departments of operations to collect and validate financial data
·  Help ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies
·  You will support both materials and manufacturing controlling, giving you broad insights in the end-to-end operational environment.
·  Participate in ad hoc financial analysis About you

The criteria below remain indicative. A candidate who has a different combination of experience and skills could also be considered.  

·  Master degree in Finance
·  0–3 years of experience in Accounting or Controlling (internships or entry-level roles are acceptable)
·  Strong proficiency in Excel ; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and BI tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus
·  Excellent analytical skills
·  Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
·  Detail-oriented with a proactive attitude
·  Fluent in English, understanding of Dutch is a plus
