Our Global Strategic Resources Cycles (SRC) Department, located in Schiphol (NL) is now looking for a:

RESPECT PROGRAM INTERN

(Full-time)

with the assignment on Sustainability within Procurement to:

"Monitor, support and accelerate the integration of Corporate Sustainable Sourcing at Danone Early Life Nutrition and Advanced Medical Nutrition divisions"

We are looking for an intern with good organizational skills and passion for sustainability, to work with us on the Sustainable Procurement Program (RESPECT). You will be a key player in supporting the RESPECT program for the Danone Early Life Nutrition (ELN) and Advance Medical Nutrition (AMN) divisions: working towards a higher level of ethical and sustainable sourcing across both divisions. You will be supervised by the Global RESPECT Manager with the secondary reporting line to the SSD Innovation Manager.

 

As the RESPECT PROGRAM INTERN you are responsible for: 

·  Animation of RESPECT program, which includes:
·  Monitoring suppliers’ ethical progress, including action plans and audit realization.
·  Reporting and communicating program results and progress to the procurement teams, Procurement Executive Committee and Group HQ.
·  Looking after the data, making it comprehensive, visual and meaningful with the ultimate goal of driving high levels of sustainability compliance among suppliers of the divisions.

 

·  Supporting, and encouraging the development of awareness for sustainable sourcing both at corporate and local organizational level.

 

·  Consolidating information between online ethical data sharing platform (SEDEX) and DANONE’s sustainable procurement database:
·  Recognizing opportunities to optimize the current process.
·  Diagnosing constraints of the current process.

 

·  Assisting with the Suppliers risk assessment using SEDEX platform.

 

·  Research to contribute towards Danone’s sustainable sourcing strategy.

We are looking for a RESPECT PROGRAM INTERN with the following profile:

Experience & Technical Knowledge:

·  Msc. Student in Supply Chain or Business Administration University Degree with academic knowledge of sustainability, or a degree in Sustainability/Environmental Sciences.

 

Skills & Competencies:

·  Self-starter capable of operating independently and pro-actively within guidelines.
·  Strong analytical skills and have proven excellence in execution.
·  Working in a matrix organization is no issue for you and you have exceptionally strong networking and communication skills.
·  Ability to adapt and resilience in a changing work environment is a must.
·  Excellent spoken English is required. Other languages are a plus.
·  Experienced Excel user is preferred.
