About the job
The mission consists in:
· Globally to contribute to the achievement of the sustainability roadmap of Danone
· Lead projects related to innovative recycled materials and implementation of new recycling process
· Lead projects related to the characterization of recycled materials: physical and chemical characteristics; including life cycle assesment
· Build recommendations, trainings or any supporting document to make sure knowledge is captured and easy to be spread within the company
· Organize & formalize scientific and technology surveillance linked to recycling process
· Build and implement trainings / communications / tool to share knowledge within or outside the company
Key responsibilities & Interaction
· Scout for new sorting and recycling process
· Evaluate new recycling process in collaboration with procurement teams
· Build close relationships with technology suppliers, academics, and experts in the field
· Have an updated data base on recycled materials characteristics, understand impact of recycled materials characteristics on Danone processing and packaging
· Build a network outside the company to foster quality improvement of recycled materials
· Capitalize good practices in recycling process development, process assessment & contribute to knowledge formalization
· Evaluate risks related to recycling technology and use of recycled materials
· Evaluate LCA studies related to recycled materials
Interaction with central and local teams in Danone especially for knowledge transfer.

About you
· A good knowledge in either Chemistry / Chemical Engineering / Polymer processing/ Materials Science
· Good knowledge in analytical chemistry
· A fluency in English
· Planning and organization skills, combined with attention to detail.
· Skills in reviewing data, solving problems and establishing priorities.
· An ability to communicate cross functionally (verbally & written) issues and performance.
· An ability to meet deadlines with quality output.
· Team player, willing to work in collaborative way
· Proactive
