Job Purpose
To ensure that Quality Management system & Food Safety processes are maintained & compliant with corporate & regulatory & customers referential

Key Areas of Responsibility

Project Management:

·  Support in reviewing Projects and whether they are meeting quality requriements at each stage of the Project Management Funnel.
·  Support in PTMs and provide input on quality and food safety risks.
·  Support Project Team on meeting quality requirements (FS Design Summary, Project Tracking per Project to compliance to Q&FS requirements, No Spec No Buy, No Spec No Product for all new innovations)
·  Audit New Suppliers (Raw Material and Suppliers), complete Audit Reports.
·  Drive management of change in projects and review of change management checklists and records.
·  Support Project Team on Promotional Objects and in Risk Assessment.
·  Drive Store-Check Assessment (Quality at Retailers), provide reports and drive action plan.

Supplier Performance:

·  Determine KPIs for Suppliers
·  Determine Top Defaulting Suppliers
·  Review Supplier Audit Reports and provide feedback to SQA Team
·  Review of Supplier Action Plans and provide feedback to SQA Team
·  Review R&P Losses & Action Plan. Support SQA Team to reduce losses.
·  Conduct Supplier Audits of Current Suppliers (Audit, Reporting and Corrective Action Plan)
·  Plan and arrange external audits for Suppliers.

3PM Quality & Food Safety:

·  Arrange and Lead meetings with 3PMs to track Q&FS Compliance and performance.
·  Track and support in driving closure of gaps from Audits and Non-Compliance to Design of Food Safety Equipment (For new and current 3PMs)
·  Ensure that mitigation plans are in place for all non-compliances.
·  Conduct follow-up audits at 3PM to determine level of compliance.
·  Review monthly reports for performance on product quality from 3PMs.

Farms Quality and Food Safety:

·  Provide support to Farmers by upskilling farmers to meet the requirements for Quality and Food Safety.
·  Provide Quality and Food Safety Training for Farmers and Staff.

Supply Chain:

·  Conduct Audits at Distribution Centres, audit report preparation and feedback to DCs. (Corrective Action Reports)

Qualification

Bachelor of Sciences or B-Tech Degree : Food Technology/Biotechnology/Microbiology/Quality Assurance
