We are looking for a Procurement Intern to support the work of the Cycle & Procurement Manager.

 

Main responsibilities:

We are looking for a Procurement Intern to support the work of the Cycle & Procurement Manager. Your responsibilities will focus on:

·  Contract Management
·  Monitor contracts based on spend reports.
·  Follow up with requesters to ensure contracts are drafted, reviewed, and uploaded to the contract management system.
·  Supplier Selection Documentation
·  Handle administrative tasks and maintain proper documentation.
·  Support end-to-end preparation of procurement reporting and tracking.
·  Premium Sourcing
·  Tabulate historical premium data for the past 3 years.
·  Compile available quotations for monitoring and reference.
·  Create and maintain a premium sourcing database.
·  Additional / Ad Hoc Tasks
·  Compile supplier quotations for centralized reference.
·  Ensure compliance and governance of procurement processes, including monitoring of Purchase Orders (PO) and Goods Receipt (GR) submissions etc. About you

Qualifications:

·  Tertiary education in a related field.
·  Able to commit to a minimum internship duration of 3 months or more.
·  Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen eye for detail.
·  Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
·  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with social media platforms is a plus. About Danone

This role offers valuable exposure to administrative processes within the procurement cycle, including supplier documentation and contract management, supporting operations in Malaysia.
