As the Operations Data & Analytics Manager, your role will be key in deploying Danone Canada's digitalization strategy for operations. By closely collaborating with cross-functional teams, data utilization will be a fundamental lever to maximize our operational efficiency and ensure impeccable service quality from production to distribution. Danone Canada aims to position its supply chain as a national benchmark, and your expertise and leadership will help us achieve this goal. Your role will wear the hats of business intelligence and analytics to collaborate respectively with the IT team and operations.

 

Reporting to the Director Operations, Strategy & Execution, your role will be to:

 

Data and Insights Analysis

·  Conduct in-depth analyses of operational data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
·  Design and develop interactive dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to stakeholders.
·  Collaborate closely with operational teams to understand their information needs and provide analytical support, such as creating specific reports and metrics.
·  Collaborate with the IT team and external partners to integrate relevant data streams for the operational team.

 

Data Governance and Quality Assurance

·  Manage the data governance process for operations to ensure the quality and integrity of data used in reports and/or analyses within Danone Canada
·  Manage continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing data governance processes and enhancing information quality for operations
·  Collaborate closely with Danone Canada's data and analytics team to integrate enterprise strategy into operations.
·  Collaborate with technical teams to define, document, and implement data quality controls.

 

Process Optimization

·  Possess in-depth expertise in various available data sources to propose optimized solutions.
·  Critically examine existing processes and recommend improvements by suggesting the adoption of new technologies (RPA or other innovative solutions).
·  Work closely with operational teams to identify inefficient processes and recommend optimization solutions, including the use of already available data.
·  Work closely with various teams, including logistics, supply chain, customer service, and finance, to understand their operational data needs.
·  Share your knowledge with cross-functional teams so that they can generate reports and optimize processes autonomously.

About you

 

Qualifications:

·  Bachelor's degree in business analytics, operations, or a related field.
·  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
·  Experience in project management and requirement gathering.
·  Proven experience as a data & analytics analyst with a focus on operations (an asset).
·  Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
·  Experience with process automation tools (PowerAutomate, UI Path).
·  Experience working with databases and operational systems.
·  Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
