WHAT WILL BE YOUR JOB?

As Medical Affairs Manager for the pediatric area you will be responsible for identifying and addressing relevant needs in clinical practice and translate research evidence into demand, build credibility and generate business opportunities for our Medical Nutrition offerings in Norway.

You will collaborate with sales and marketing and work in close partnership with the medical community, including doctors, nurses, dietitians, hospitals, pharmacies, health authorities and patient organizations.

Your objective will be to create a network of outspoken advocates for use of Nutricia's products within targeted therapeutic areas, resulting in strong positions in treatment guidelines and optimal clinical use to the benefit of patients in need.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Key Opinion Leader management
·  Build key stakeholder advocacy for how Nutricia’s products provide simple and cost effective solutions to the nutritional needs of patients.
·  Lead or co-lead HCP Network groups, arrange events, expert meetings.

·  Evidence generation
·  Evaluate academic research funding applications, implement and drive Nutricia sponsored studies according to business needs

·  Medical Education
·  Lead & develop Nutricia Academia pediatric courses.
·  Arrange internal education for sales and marketing.

·  Medical Specialist
·  Keep up with trends, literature, local guidelines etc.
·  Market shaping activities (lobby) and providing expertise in public procurements.
·  Act as strategic sparring partner to sales and marketing in strategy development.
·  Provide subject expertise and sign-off on marketing materials.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

·  Master Degree in a health related science, such as clinical nutrition, pharmacy or medicine.
·  3-5 years in pharma industry; sales, mkt access or medical roles / Good level of understanding of nutritional principles and their practical application.
·  Experience from research, not necessarily a PhD but published scientific paper(s) is a plus.
·  Experience from Medical affairs or a clinical research role is considered a merit.
·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both English and Norwegian.
·  Good presentation skills.
·  Natural networker who comfortably navigates the medical field and interact with players at all levels in all settings.
·  Lastly but not least – you are an outgoing team player who enjoys working towards a common goal.
