Master Data Officer

(location: Zoetermeer – fulltime)

About the Job

This role is part of our Specialized Nutrition factory located in Zoetermeer and reports directly to the Master Data Manager. In this factory (with over 500 Danoners) we produce specialized liquid medical nutrition contributing to the well-being of vulnerable target groups (infants, elderly and sick) in over 55 countries.

Your main responsibilities

The Master Data Officer is responsible for the accurate, consistent and timely entry of Vendor, Customer, Material and Bill of Material data into the various business systems. To protect the quality of the data, the Master Data Officer plays a key role in ensuring that the procedures for data modification requests and approvals will be followed.

From this pivotal position within Nutricia’s Zoetermeer Supply Point you will be responsible for:

·  Process the requests for vendors, customers, materials and bills of material related master data.
·  Perform quality, consistency, completeness and duplication checks.
·  Monitor, proactively follow and maintain the master data processes in line with business and system requirements/procedures.
·  Receive, document and store/archive all relevant (change) requests.
·  Generate data extracts and reports to monitor data completeness and consistency.
·  Initiate and drive regular data clean up processes with the relevant data owners.
·  Maintain user account parameters for the work flow system (ORSoft).
·  Create and maintain the work instructions in Manual Master.
·  Provide master data support for the user community.

About You

We are looking for someone with a BSc degree with at least 2 years of experience in production environment preferably working in, or closely with, food, pharma, medical or FMCG industry. You are highly experienced in maintaining and analyzing master data. Moreover, you have demonstrated potential to collaborate with experts across diverse disciplines.

In addition, you fit this role perfectly because you are/have:

·  You are a high performing professional with experience in using ERP Systems (SAP MM/SD, Oracle, Peoplesoft or JDE Preferred);
·  You have advanced MS-Excel, MS-Access and SQL skills;
·  You have experience with setting up workflow tools and process automation tools;
·  You have strong analytical and reporting skills;
·  You are accurate and exact to do things ‘first time right’;
·  You are able to prioritize and work independently;
·  You are fluent in the English and Dutch language.

In the team of Master Data (reporting to the Master Data Manager) we take care of the master data for the Specialized Nutrition division at Zoetermeer and you will work with internal stakeholders within the Supply Chain, Food Safety, QA etc. The mission of the team is to be recognized as a valuable business partner by ensuring availability of accurate data for decision making, delivering projects on time and simplifying global and local processes and tools.
