JR. CATEGORY ACTIVATION MANAGER

Your Mission :
To support North American Category Activation Managers in developing, executing, and strengthening the 1D and Plastic category strategies. This is a highly visible role that serves as a key resource to the NORAM team.
Your Key Responsibilities:
· Regional Category Strategy Support - Support NORAM Category Activation Managers in the development, validation and implementation of the regional category strategy.
· Spend Analysis – support Category Activation Manager in compiling spend data and report overall spend for 1D & Plastics function.
· Supply Market Analysis – support Category Activation Manager in researching / cataloguing supply base, supplier capability, etc.
· Business Requirements – support Category Activation Manager in defining key business requirements, facilitate necessary internal stakeholder meetings across business units.
· RFI/RFQ/RFP Support – facilitate collection of key documentation (e.g., specifications, dielines, etc.), bid analysis and summary, implementation).
· Support Business Continuity – Provide day-to-day business support to the NORAM Category Activation Managers:
· PFR – coordinate with DanTrade pricing coordinator pricing requests required to support projects.
· Sedex Compliance – ensure our target compliance to requirements by facilitating supplier data submissions prior to renewal and support Category Activation Managers with new supplier setup requirements.
· Pricing Accuracy & tracking (PIR setup) - ensure internal pricing systems are accurate by facilitating the update process & implementation of the price changes during the year in the system (including approvals and data entry).
· Invoice Reconciliation – research pricing discrepancies that result in invoice errors, correct issues, and facilitate appropriate approvals to ensure timely payment.
· Serves as liaison to the PMO and develops/communicates the procurement timeline requirements and appropriate due dates of critical milestones based on the various project requirements to ensure deliverables are executed in a timely/efficient manner.
· Publish supplier performance on a monthly basis (continued tracking and connection of supplier performance vs. business needs).
· Coordinate business reviews for Category Activation Manager, key internal stakeholders, and suppliers
· Departmental Performance / Scorecard: Establish and implement procedures for tracking/reporting of key departmental performance metrics

Experience & Technical Knowledge:
· Bachelor’s degree required.
· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain or Finance required
· CPG experience preferred
Skills:
· Detail oriented, analytical, organized, and objective. He or she must be able to analyze data quickly and ascertain a plan of action based on that data.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel and Power Point skills.
· Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
· Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs.
