Danone is hiring: an intern to join the Global SSD Team in the ELN and AMN Divisions at Danone Place Schiphol!

 

The department Sourcing & Supplier Development (SSD) is in charge of all procurement activities for Danone ELN and AMN divisions. SSD consists of 4 dedicated Global Purchasing Teams, who are responsible for Ingredients, Packaging & Capex (capital expenditures), Dairy-Ingredients and Indirect (Services) & 3rd Party Manufacturing.
 

Your mission:
The assignment is on Corporate Social Responsibility:

"How to monitor, support and accelerate the integration of Corporate Sustainable Sourcing at Danone Early Life Nutrition & Medical Nutrition"

 

We are looking for an intern to work with us in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). To support the Sustainable procurement program (RESPECT) for the Danone Early Life Nutrition (Baby) and Advance Medical Nutrition divisions: Working towards a higher level of ethical sourcing in both divisions. You will be supervised by the SSD Innovation Manager.
 

Your key responsibilities:

• Animation of RESPECT program
- monitoring suppliers’ ethical progress
- reporting and communicating program results & progress to buyers, Procurement Executive Committee and headquarter
- making the data comprehensive, visual and meaningful

• Supporting, and encouraging the development of awareness for sustainable sourcing at a corporate- and a local organizational level

• Consolidating information between online ethical data sharing platform (SEDEX) and DANONE’s sustainable procurement database.
- Recognizing opportunities to optimize the current process
- Diagnosing constraints of the current process

• Supplier’s risk assessment using SEDEX
 

Your profile:
The ideal candidate will be a MSc. student in Supply Chain or Business Administration or Industrial Engineering. You are a self-starter capable of operating independently and pro-actively within guidelines. You have strong analytical skills. Working in a matrix organization is no issue for you and you have exceptionally strong networking and communication skills. Excellent spoken English is required. Other languages are a plus. Experienced Excel user is preferred.
