About the role

In this role, you will contribute and support the Internal Control function to provide a reasonable assurance that the business (CBU) is operating effectively and efficiently, has a reliable financial reporting system and complies with applicable laws and regulations. As a Cluster Business Services (CBS) Internal Controller, your scope will be the Middle East, you will report directly to the Internal Control Lead and will work closely with the CBS Finance Director, CBU Finance Director, Business Process Owners, Business Control Owners as well as the Danone Internal Control Community and Internal Auditors.

In this role your key responsibilities will be to:

·  Perform controls testing and documentation of processes executions as per the Group Internal Control guidelines and Internal Control Lead requirements.
·  When high risks are identified, support to identify recommendations.
·  Follow-up and support on actions plans implementation and confirm sustainability of actions.
·  Contribute to process efficiency and control improvements to secure CBU’s operations.
·  Animate & coordinate BPOs and BCOs in their missions.
·  Promote adherence to CBS and CBU’s policies and procedures.

About you
To be successful in the role, you should ideally have:

·  Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Business, Finance or related.
·  Fluency in English, Arabic is a plus.
·  0-2 years’ experience in a similar role preferably in a Multi-national company. Experience in Internal Controlling, External Auditing, or Finance with exposure to audit is highly preferred.
·  Competency in use of Microsoft Office especially Excel and Power Point.
·  High emotional agility and ability to manage stakeholders.
·  Accuracy and attention to details.
·  Ability to work autonomously.
