The Advanced Packaging Technology (APT) team is aDanonecentralteam ofResearch&Innovationin  Packaging. It works on 3 main axes: 

1. Innovation 

identifytechnological developmentsallowingdevelopment ofnew packaging orsignificantimprovement ofexistingpackagings. 

2. Training 

Summarizeknowledge and structure it to ensure its dissemination tohelplocal teams upskilling. 

3. Support 

Helping local teamstoovercome challenges theymayface. 

Take the opportunity to act within this team as a 

PACKAGING DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER(M/F) –Permanent contract 

Position based in Evian les Bains (FR – 74) with travel in Europe andInternational 

  

You maybe requiredto work ondifferent typesof packaging: caps, preforms, bottles,cups,lids, etc.including fulllife cycle: production (externally or internally), implementation onfillinglines ,logistical impact, evaluation of the finished product (includinguser experience) and end of life. 

 

Reporting toa Senior Manager, your main missions will be to:

Manage packaging innovation projects linked to technological developments: 

from the ideationto first productionincluding specificationdefinitionand means&methods of validation 

· 
Provide support/advice to countries on projects or for problemsolving, translateintopilotorlaboratoryrequests, sum-upresults andmakerecommendations 

· 
Scouting/ competitive intelligence 

· 
Lead and/orbe part of expertcommunities,sum-up and build onknowledge 

· 
Be partoflearning modules andteachlocal teams 

· 
Beactive memberof the team byleadingcross-functional missions

About you

The criteria below remain indicative. A candidate who has a different combination of experience and skills could also be considered.  

You have a Master 2 at university or engineering school in Packaging Technology (Engineering, Development, Materials).

You are curiousandgoodability in summarizing,pedagogyand transversalmanagement. 

You have at leastafirst industrialexperience in plastic packaging (development, quality, production, engineering, etc.).
