More specifically, the Advanced Technologies – Ingredients department is in charge of developing innovative ingredients and providing expertise in the different categories of existing or emerging ingredients as well as anticipating scientific and technological solutions through the promotion and development of our ecosystem.
MAIN MISSION OF THE ROLE
The primary assignment of the Technician in Food Biotechnology will be to carry out the laboratory and pilot plant work. This activity is key to support innovation projects related to the characterisation and application of biotech derived ingredients into the broad Danone portfolio (including fresh-dairy, plant-based and specialised nutrition products).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Develop products or new material prototypes (from lab to pilot scale) including biotech-derived ingredients
· Conduct analytical tests such as taste, texture and structure…
· Work closely with Biotech Scientist and support project needs
· Analyse data and interpret results to make informed decisions and recommendations regarding product formulations or processing techniques.
· Regularly communicate results to team members through presentation and/or report
· Support business requests by carrying out lab and pilot trials
· Record experimental data systematically.
Education and experience
· BSc in food technology, food engineering or any related fields
· Hands-on approach and interest in food product development and food process
· Solid knowledge in dairy technology & ingredients
· Proven track record of using common laboratory equipment
· Good working knowledge of English

· Good communication and collaboration skills to work efficiently with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
