Vision of the Role:
Work in close partnership with the Shopper Marketing team to develop and execute effective Walmart shopper activation programs, and develop Danone’s Walmart private brands business.
Key Responsibilities
· Define and execute strategy to grow the Great Value business at Walmart.
· Read, understand, and interpret customer, shopper and consumer data (e.g., household buying information, in-store shopper behaviors, etc.)
· Assist in management of brand projects, including commercialization of renovation and innovation, leading and building relationships with both internal and customer cross-functional teams. Must have close attention to detail.
· Collaborate with agency teams to develop and approve packaging and graphics and closely monitor all timelines.
· Monitor day-to-day business activity for the brand (sales performance tracking and reporting, budgets, Demand Planning/ Forecasting, P&Ls, etc).
· Develop and assess future opportunities for brand growth.
· Develop and execute shopper marketing programs to drive growth across the Danone portfolio at Walmart. Responsible for driving select brands in collaboration with sales leads and brand teams.
· Leverage national activation plans and understanding of brands’ positioning to create customer-specific plans and programs that meet customer objectives.
· Work with internal and agency teams to develop insights-driven creative.
· Assist in tracking the execution of programs against aligned timelines and budgets.
· Manage vendors and third party relationships that impact shopper programs.
· Develop customer-facing material to support sales teams as needed.
· Drive continued growth opportunity through insights and analysis of program performance.
· Analyze shopper segmentation, profiles, and drivers at Walmart to determine effective shopper marketing initiatives.
· Perform pre- and post- promo evaluations to understand effectiveness of shopper marketing events at assigned customer
· Provide reports to influence future shopper marketing investment decisions and share success stories with the organization
Qualifications:
· 4 year college degree in Business or related field; MBA a plus
· 3-5 years previous experience within CPG industry
· Agency, brand or shopper marketing experience
· Ability to read and interpret consumer and shopper research
· Strong ability to work on-cross functional teams
· Excellent planning and organizational skills, including superior communication skills (written and verbal) and strong attention to detail
· 10-15% travel
