YOUR MISSIONS WITHIN THE MAGNITUDE TEAM

This 1-year apprenticeship will take place in Paris, in our superb HQ, starting on September 2024.  

To thrive in your missions, your coach (aka your manager) at Danone, Riccardo Sacchi, Consolidation & Reporting Analyst, will help you cross the finish line.

Context of Team Magnitude

Within the Finance Department, the Magnitude team manages the Consolidation and Reporting application for Danone. This application facilitates the preparation of consolidated financial statements and the production of reports for Senior Management, as well as the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) published for financial markets.

The Magnitude team consists of 3 members and is responsible for maintaining the operational condition of Danone’s financial information systems. It assists corporate finance teams throughout the closing process and the implementation of new developments.

The Magnitude team is part of the Danone Group’s Consolidation Team and provides daily support for the company’s closings.

 

Missions of the apprenticeship:

Under the guidance and training of Magnitude team members you will participate in the:

·  Management and Operational Support for the Magnitude System:
·  You will participate in the functional administration of the application (managing access rights, creating reports, setting up new financial master data, implementing financial consolidations, and Intercompany reconciliation (70%)
·  You will contribute to user support (consolidators, accountants, and financial controllers, totaling approximately 1500 users worldwide). This includes implementing fixes, conducting training sessions, and more (20%)
·  Process Improvement Tracking and Magnitude Project Management:
·  You will be involved in evolution projects (such as creating new financial reports or adopting new standards) and process optimization. This includes writing procedures, knowledge management, and identifying best practices (10%)

·  Apprenticeship: your salary will depend on our apprentice salary grid, your age and study level.
·  Advantages of the location (Paris 9 th arrondissement)

About you

You are a champion:

·  Available from September 2024 for a duration of 12 months
·  You are studying a Master’s degree with a focus on information systems and/or finance

Desired skills:

·  You have strong interest in IT tools and information systems (financial software, etc.).
·  Interest in management and accounting (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, etc.).
·  Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Qualities:

·  Rigor, autonomy (especially in following procedures) and responsibility.
·  Interpersonal ease, curiosity, good level of written and spoken communication.
·  Learning and adaptability capabilities.
·  Synthesis and writing skills.
·  Fluent in English.
