Danone North America is looking for a Analyst of Enterprise Analytics: Sales Reporting & Tools Eco-System in Broomfield.

Analytics at Danone is a discipline that is linked closely to all functions and consumer/shopper /customer marketplace driven business decisions. Analytics efforts are grounded in deeply understanding the Channel/Retailer Landscape, Business Drivers, Competitive Intelligence, Foresight, Opportunity Identification, and Implications.
In this role you will be responsible for influencing business decisions for our Sales Enterprise EDP portfolio and customers. To succeed in the role, you need to have a strong drive to own the business and be a self-starter, comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment. You also need to have a proven record of influencing business decisions, competitive intelligence, retail intelligence and persuasive communication. Finally, you need to be passionate about learning, objective about the data, and open to collaboration and debate. The ideal candidate is business-minded, consumer/shopper/customer-centric, self-motivated, and driven for results. This position will report into the Senior Manager of Enterprise Analytics.

Responsibilities of the role include:

BUILD THE SALES REPORTING & TOOLS ECO-SYSTEM: Bring the Sales Reporting & Tools Eco-System from Vision to Reality.

·  Partner with retail field points of contacts to ensure the Eco-System is created with relevance and fits their needs...and Co-Lead the design of the final reports and tools
·  Meet timelines, milestones, and drive implementation to expectations of Sales Leadership
·  Execute technology and analytics partnerships to integrate cross-channel data from different sources, transform data, automate, and visualize with accuracy and efficiency
·  Partner with data providers to secure data and develop processes for timely data updating to fuel the Eco-System
·  Partner with IS/IT team to ensure data lake storage, security, access management, testing/QC’ing, maintenance, and enhancements are all in place

CREATE COMPLIANCE OF THE SALES REPORTING & TOOLS ECO-SYSTEM:

·  Create connective reporting & tools distribution & storage networks and processes to ensure timely delivery AND appropriate visibility throughout entire sales team structure
·  Anticipate business and analytics need across Sales; Understand the big picture but also the nuances of the business and the researc
·  Proactively identify ways to enhance existing reporting and tools to deliver more value
·  Identify analytics gaps and develop recommendations on how the eco-system could be further developed to fill those gap
·  Look for NEW technologies and partnerships that could take the eco-system to the next level...improving speed to insights, ease of use, timely updating, digestibility of the insights, relevance to sales teams, etc...

DELIVER ENTERPRISE EXECUTIVE LEVEL INSIGHTS & RECOMMENDATIONS TO SALES LEADERSHIP :

·  Collaborate with team lead on what the future vision for Sales Analytics looks like
·  Train sales team on how to leverage the eco-system to create value within their regions/accounts
·  Develop and collect case studies of big wins through leveraging the eco-system
·  Cross-Share value creation big wins across the sales organization
·  Collaborate with the Sales Leadership Team and Retailer Teams to identify key business questions
·  Leverage the reporting & tools eco-system your team builds to synthesize information and data (e.g. IRI, Nielsen, Spins etc...) into meaningful insights & foresights surrounding the retailer/channel landscape, EDP categories, Danone portfolio, and more.
·  Deliver actionable tactical and strategic ‘call to action’ growth recommendations to Sales Leadership Team and cross-functional groups at HQ (e.g. Deliver a monthly ‘Retail Pulse’ deck story to Sales Leadership)
·  Address the business questions, but answer the relevant questions nobody was asking and tell them what they don’t know

HELP CREATE THE FUTURE OF SALES ANALYTICS:

An ideal candidate would have:

·  BA/BS required (Masters preferred)
·  1+ years of experience working with point of sale data (e.g. IRI, Nielsen), extracting insights/foresights from the information, and delivering value added actionable growth recommendations...considered an expert with this data
·  1+ years working in CPG
·  Strong knowledge of business practices, sales principles, and retail environment/practices
·  Expert in Excel and PowerPoint
·  Self-Starter and capable of delivering against a vision with minimal guidance
·  Strong Project Management skills
·  Attracted to new technology and analytical approaches
·  Open minded, flexible, autonomous, and capable of leading cross-functional discussions
·  Client-side work in CPG a plus
·  Supplier-side research experience a plus
·  Demonstrated ability to build advocacy for analytics in an organization a plus
·  Experience working with Sales Leadership a plus
·  Experience working across data sources/sets a plus
·  Experience managing 3rd party analytics, research, or technology partners a plus
·  Equally comfortable contributing and influencing in group or individual assignments
