Sr. HR Business Partner Alpro HQ

Ghent, Belgium

Looking for a generalist HR management role which combines strategic HR advisory with day to day proximity to the business? Where no one day is the same and you work together with competent HR and business colleagues passionate about one shared mission to change how the world eats for the better?

As Sr HR Business Partner, you lead the implementation of the HR strategy & processes for the Global Research and Innovation and Marketing teams, HQ & commercial teams based in Alpro in Ghent, Wevelgem and in Breda (NL). You coach local management with regard to their people & organization challenges and act as HR SPOC for all employees in your scope. You take into account the interests and needs of all stakeholders, including social partners, in order to contribute to achieving the business goals. You are also in charge of a Centre of Excellence for talent acquisition and of the learning and training department.

You lead a team of 4 people and work in close collaboration with a multi-disciplinary and multi-country HR team in Alpro and Danone. You report into the HR Director of Alpro, and are based in Ghent.

About the role

People Manager : You are great at coaching and engaging your team: an HR Business Partner, Recruitment manager, Talent Coordinator and learning manager

Business Partner :

You advise and guide senior leaders in building the capabilities for the future.

You act as SPOC for business leaders and their employees, for all HR related questions.

You detect development & learning needs and follow up with respective stakeholders.

You listen to & coach individuals with regard to their needs & career aspirations

HR Process & Quality Guard :

You work closely together with the HR business services teams within Alpro and Danone (comp & ben, learning & development, payroll,…) to ensure HR processes are implemented in a consistent way across all Alpro sites.

You give training regarding HR policies & processes and assist in the roll out.

You foster an open and constructive social dialogue in order to safeguard the interests of the company and the interests of its employees.

Talent Acquirer : together with the Centre of Excellence and the recruitment manager, you provide the best recruitment service for all sites of Benelux, promote best practices across all sites and take care of the employer branding.

HR team Contributor :

You help ensure full compliance for all local HR activities by providing support in external audits & managing correct data input in our HRIS systems.

You take the lead in, or actively contribute to, HR or business wide projects with an international scope.

You keep abreast of and act upon latest development in HR through participating in external seminaries, knowledge sharing

About you

·  You combine a Master's degree with min 8-10 years of experience in HR management.
·  You have worked in multinational matrix organizations before.
·  You display strong people management & coaching skills.
·  You show a genuine interest in business and manage to flex between being a business partner, coach, facilitator or advisor depending on the situation.
·  You display integrity & diplomacy whilst being perseverant in reaching results.
·  You have excellent communication & presentation skills.
·  You manage to engage & influence others based on your analytical insight & strong stakeholder management.
·  You combine strong conceptual thinking with a hands-on & pragmatic style.
·  You have strong project management skills & can set priorities well.
·  You are fluent in Dutch and English.
