SageGlass, one of its subsidiaries, develops and produces electronically tintable glass for windows, skylights and curtain walls. The glass tints automatically or on demand to control sunlight, without shades and blinds, maintaining your connection to the outdoors and reducing energy consumption.
Sageglass is a global product and is required to be compliant with the product requirements of markets we enter and those requirements that we voluntarily agree to. Requirements apply to both of our components
- glass and controls (electrical and electronic). Identifying these requirements requires various levels of investigation to determine local jurisdictional rules, whether we are in scope, testing requirements, internal controls, etc.
In this role you will assist in regulatory program development where the requirements can be executed and communicated across the SAGE organization and into Saint-Gobain proper. SageGlass is one of the more complex products Saint-Gobain produces and a VIE that benefits from the critical thinking techniques necessary to determine product requirements canmove smoothly in and out of jurisdictions because the critical thinking is scalable.
Your tasks :
1.Assist in regulatory and product quality certification audits.
2.Research regulatory requirements within targeted jurisdictions.
3.Draft regulatory standard operating procedures to assist in regulatory procedures.
4.Respond in a timely manner to Sustainability informational needs.
5.Develop regulatory knowledge across jurisdictions and SageGlass components.
6.Build critical thinking skills.
7.Participate in the execution of regulatory requirements.
Competencies we are looking for:
Master degree in Law (international/ Compliance/ Financial)
You have very good written and spoken skills in English.
Dotted with a creative problem-solving mindset and a hands-on approach, you are detail-orientated and you possess the ability to work safely and effectively with a diverse team.
You are well organized, keep your work constantly documented, and you are able to analyze data and write reports in a clear way.
