YOUR TASKS

As part of its strategy to strengthen its Institutional Brokerage – Equity Research, Kepler’s Equity team is seeking ambitious and entrepreneurial-driven young professionals who is keen to join a leading financial player with a set-up across several different business lines.

As an Equity Research Analyst Assistant:

- You will work within the Research team reporting directly to research analysts

- Your main task consists of assisting analysts in writing and publishing financial research reports (strategy, companies, sectors, thematic, etc.)

- You will support analysts’ fundamental approach working on in-depth industry and company modelling, and perform quality analysis in order to derive investment recommendations

- You will help analysts to present the findings to institutional investors and Kepler Cheuvreux’ salesforce (morning meeting, presentation, bespoke work, etc.)
More specifically, you will be assigned to development and maintenance and modelling with focus on listed European industrial companies

- You will work in a highly-experienced capital goods/Industrials research team and a very intellectually stimulating department as a whole. You will bring input in building up an investment case on the particular stock subject of the assignments provided.

YOUR PROFILE & SKILLS

- Student completing a Master’s level qualification within a management, economic or engineering subject or highly motivated post-graduate (you are preferably in your last year of studies, seeking placement)

- Strong interest and understanding of financial markets and some working knowledge of accounting, financial modelling, and valuation techniques (prior experience/interest in equity research would be a plus)

- As your work will also be very close to real market data, basic knowledge of databases is necessary
Rigorous and intellectually curious to discover new findings

- Team player able to work in a demanding environment
Dynamic and entrepreneurial, willing to fully commit to the internship

- Interpersonal skills such as exceptional writing and communication and analytical skills

- Good command of Microsoft Office (in particular Excel skills) and Bloomberg are desirable

- Truly fluent in English and may have achieved a proficient level in a second European language
