Coface SWITZERLAND is part of the Western Europe Region and is based in Lausanne and Rümlang (Zurich area).
We are looking for a Junior Credit Analyst to join our Credit Risk Analysis team. Your role will be to maintain a close watch on our portfolio in order to provide the group’s risk department with pertinent and updated information.
Activities
• Take care of administrative tasks of the department
• Support analysts to prepare rating decisions to SME based on external financial information providers
• Provide support to interpret Financial Statements according Swiss Code of Obligations and other Swiss and International accounting Standards
• Support Analysts to prepare Debtor Risk Assessment analyses and debtor visit reports considering financials, press information as well as soft facts
• Deal with internal requests from Coface entities around the world on companies based in Switzerland and Liechtenstein
• Request financial statements from debtors and insert them into internal systems
• Support Credit Analyst Manager with risk-related tasks
In this position, you will be part of the Enhanced Information Center (EIC) Team covering Switzerland and Liechtenstein area. You will report directly to the EIC Manager.
Must-have skills/knowledge
• Education in Banking and/or Finance/Risk Management (a strong advantage) or good knowledge of Accounting/Finance/Business Administration.
• Ideally trilingual French/German/English with min B2 Level in each language.
• Highly motivated individual with good analytical skills,
• Team player
• Good communication skills
• Good knowledge of using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Strong advantages
• Experience in financial / credit risk management in financial services companies, a strong advantage
• Experience in client-facing roles, an advantage
• Fluency or knowledge of Italian, a plus
