Job description

We are seeking a dynamic Wholesale Trade Activation Executive to oversee and execute trade marketing strategies across the Benelux region (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg), with a strong focus on both traditional retail and e-wholesale channels.

A key aspect of this role is ensuring flawless execution of all activities in the field to maximize impact and uphold brand standards. 

In this role you will be responsible, with the coaching of the Wholesale Trade Marketing Manager Benelux & Scandinavia, for developing and implementing a strong operational plan, driving brand visibility, and supporting sales growth in collaboration with local sales teams and retail partners.

What impact you can create at Chanel

·  Achieving brand consolidated targets through building differentiated shopper-centric account strategies and lead the translation and execution of the marketing strategy into impactful retailer program, respecting and tracking budget to achieve brand target.
·  Create strong (and differentiated) retailer brand strategies for the BENELUX market using sell out analysis and shopper insights and translate them into trade presentations.
·  Design and implement channel-specific initiatives for e-wholesalers, including digital promotional materials, joint marketing campaigns,..
·  Ensure flawless execution of all trade marketing activities in the field, including in-store promotions, point-of-sale materials, retail activation campaigns, product launches, trade podia out of store and digital initiatives.
·  Regularly visit key locations to audit, monitor, and support field execution, ensuring all activities meet brand standards and deliver optimal consumer experience.
·  Regular tracking and assessment of your campaigns and develop action plan if performance is off track.
·  Full Responsibility for all POSM management (developing design, production & Delivery), GWP & Value Set management to achieve targeted KPI and ensure implement flawless in-store execution within agreed timeline.
·  Manage the trade marketing budget and ensure efficient allocation of resources across both traditional and digital channels.
·  Build strong relationships with key retail partners and distributors, negotiating and coordinating joint marketing activities.
·  Collaborate closely with sales, product management, supply and digital teams to ensure alignment and consistency across all marketing initiatives.
·  Follow-up on market trends, competitive activity, and shopper insights.

  What you will bring

·  Higher education qualification and at least 3 years of related experience as Trade Marketing Manager or similar position. Experience within (the) e-commerce (market), within the luxury market or Fragrance & Beauty market is advantageous.
·  Able to understand and synthesize business and market intelligence and propose creative responses.
·  Excellent organizational, project management, communication, and negotiation skills and ability to work with different stakeholders of the local and global team.
·  Able to challenge the status quo, communicate the vision to inspire and engage
·  Excellent presentation and communication skills with an ability to engage internal and external stakeholders effectively.
·  Demonstrated capability to set priorities and taking initiative.
·  We are looking for a colleague who excels at working independently and proactively takes responsibility. You have a keen eye for detail, think critically, and are confident in making decisions when necessary. In addition, you are not afraid to challenge stakeholders and engage in constructive dialogue to achieve the best results together.
·  Fluent in Dutch and English. Knowledge of French is advantageous.
·  Position is based in Amsterdam office and regular travelling within the Benelux is required.
