Transfer Pricing Analyst

Job description

Chanel is looking for a Transfer Pricing Analyst to join the Global Tax team based in London.

Overview:

Carry out financial analyses as well as assist in the updating of the transfer pricing documentation of all Chanel companies worldwide.

Assist the team in performing ad hoc financial simulations and updating a global transfer pricing model, including finding ways of integrating with financial systems of the group.

 

Tasks & responsibilities

·   Assist our Transfer Pricing Specialist in setting-up and running a transfer pricing documentation management tool
·  Assist the Transfer Pricing Specialist in the implementation of the tool
·  Get a deep understanding of the tool architecture in order to take over its operation
·  Work with the Transfer Pricing Director on the analysis and automation of the analysis of all intercompany transactions worldwide
·  Compare the reported transactions to the previous year’s transactions
·  Run analyses on the intercompany transactions to define a global documentation policy minimizing tax risks
·  Automate the sanity check performed on the intercompany transactions
·  Reconcile the intercompany transactions between the various related parties
·  Produce quarterly reports on the group results and the compliance of all entities with the transfer pricing policy of the group
·  Update an excel model tracking the results of the different entities
·  Become familiar with the financial systems of the group
·  Investigate whether the model can be implemented in the financial systems of the group
·  Assist on ad-hoc projects as required

Education and Experience

·  Master’s degree in Finance, or Economics; preferred
·  Experience in controlling or transfer pricing, either in-house or in private practice;
·  Interest in international taxation;

Additional Skills

·         Knowledge of Financial Systems will be an asset;

·         Native English speaker, knowledge of French is an asset;

·         Strong writing skills;

·         Intelligent and with a critical mind-set;

·         Computer savvy and good mastery of Excel and Word;

·         A discrete team player, open mind, with a strong long-term vision;

·         Driven and dynamic, and not afraid to take initiatives.
