Manager – Supply Chain

As the Supply Chain Manager you will oversee the smooth execution of logistics flows across three divisions: Perfumes, Beauty, Fashion, and Watches & Jewelry. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient import processes in close collaboration with the legal and business departments to guarantee the seamless arrival of goods.

Key responsibilities include stock management, data maintenance, inventory control, and related analyses. The SC Manager will also manage return flows and necessary storage conditions, ensuring the proper handling of products. Additionally, they will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing a distribution strategy for the Indian market.

Core of the Job

·  Oversee logistics flows to ensure the timely and efficient import of goods in alignment with business and legal requirements.
·  Manage stock levels, ensuring accurate data maintenance and reporting.
·  Coordinate inventory management and perform detailed analyses to optimize supply chain efficiency.
·  Handle return processes and manage storage conditions to ensure product preservation.
·  Develop and implement the distribution strategy for the Indian market, ensuring alignment with business goals and market needs.

Order Management

·  Responsible for order entry in ERP to ensure delivery from distribution center, must be able to process standard and custom orders ensuring all SOPs are followed and carried out.
·  Tracking the shipment and informing the internal and external customers regarding the detailed status; liaising with the official courier company for delivery and status.
·  Problem Solving – Be able to understand and assist with any issue regarding orders or approvals.
·  Master Data Management – Maintenance of master data to ensure correct information is reflected on ERP system like price or HSN code.

Stock Replenishment Planning

·  Work closely with sales & marketing team for replenishment strategies of boutiques.
·  Review historical sales trends in order to prepare & develop statistical forecast.
·  Based on demand forecasting/data analysis, determine replenishment item and quantity.

3PL & Transportation Management

·  Handling warehouse operations with basic knowledge of import and export
·  Responsible for periodic stock count, annual stock take, physical inventory accuracy, document retention, meet compliance requirements related to warehouse & inbound operations.
·  Transportation management, vehicle tracking and courier management.
·  Oversee warehouse personnel, reporting to logistics, on all labeling, wrapping, palletization, shipping, and monthly stock audit.

Vendor Bills Processing

·  Timely processing and validating vendor bills for payments with proper filing of documentation.
·  Initiate transportation claim process damage/transit loss products.
·  Provide monthly MIS for operation cost.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

·  Thorough knowledge of Microsoft office applications (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)
·  Able to read and interpret instructions, policy, procedures, and provide guidance to others regarding implementation and application, as well as identify areas of improvement.
·  SAP or Microsoft exposure preferred.

What you can bring to the team

·  Proven experience in supply chain and logistics management, preferably in the luxury goods or retail sectors.
·  Strong knowledge of import/export regulations and international trade compliance.
·  Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage complex supply chain operations across multiple divisions.
·  Experience in developing and executing distribution strategies.
·  Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly in cross-functional teams (legal, business, and logistics).
·  Must have prior experience of working on ERP software.
·  You must be detailed oriented, pro-active, dynamic and very well organized with a capacity to adapt to a fast moving environment. Your strong planning skills allow you to ensure timely and accurate execution of responsibilities. You have strong communication skills which allow you to build strong relationship within a team.
