Job description

THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Source to Pay (S2P) and Order to Cash (O2C) Process Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimising and managing end-to-end S2P and O2C processes, ensuring operational excellence, compliance, efficiency and the ability to provide strategic financial insights to support senior management with decision making. This role requires a strong accounting background, analytical skills, the ability to manage and mentor a team, and to collaborate across departments.

WHAT IMPACT YOU CAN CREATE AT CHANEL

S2P process management:

· 
Oversee the team processing invoices, payments, and reconciliation of supplier accounts defining best practices, adapting to change and ensuring high standards and regulatory compliance.

· 
Ensure timely creation and payment of vendor invoices and supporting the business to resolve any discrepancies.

· 
Analyse data to understand bottlenecks and business support required collaborating across finance and the business.

· 
Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential issues, collaborating with indirect procurement.

· 
Create, monitor and measure success against defined KPIs related to accounts payable aligned to global measures of success to optimise payment schedules.

· 
Maintain strong relationships with vendors to facilitate smooth communication and resolve issues efficiently.

O2C process management:

· 
Supervise the invoicing process, ensuring all customer transactions are accurately recorded.

· 
Ensure timely collection of outstanding receivables, monitoring aging reports and managing and providing recommendations on credit risks.

· 
Develop and maintain a system for tracking and following up on overdue accounts.

· 
Prepare monthly AR reports, highlighting key metrics, trends, and collections performance.

Compliance and Internal Controls:

· 
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.

· 
Implement and maintain internal controls to mitigate financial risk in both S2P and OTC processes.

· 
Assist in the preparation of audits and manage any queries related to S2P/OTC.

Team Leadership & Development:

· 
Lead, mentor, and develop the S2P/OTC teams, providing guidance and support in resolving issues and improving performance.

· 
Set clear objectives and performance metrics for the team, conducting regular performance reviews.

· 
Foster a collaborative and positive work environment to ensure high levels of staff engagement and productivity.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

· 
Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) is required.

· 
Significant exposure to accounts payable and receivable functions.

· 
Prior experience in a management, with a proven track record of team leadership.

· 
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards

· 
Experience with Coupa, D365 and SAP software is strongly preferred

· 
Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and financial modelling, and good presentation skills.
