Why This Mission:

The Planning and Governance Manager is crucial in aligning our P&O practices with organizational goals. This role bridges strategic intent with operational execution, ensuring that P&O strategies are both responsive to the current and future business’ needs. In doing so, the position helps the company navigate its evolution effectively despite changing circumstances.

As a strategic architect, the jobholder streamlines P&O priorities by assessing project interdependencies and relevance to business objectives. Located within the market and working closely with the P&O GM and functional leads, this role leverages deep local knowledge and external P&O trends to identify and apply opportunities for impactful outcomes. He will drive efficiencies through continuous improvement initiatives such as automation and process optimization. Additionally, this position enhances internal communication and collaboration, building a cohesive network within P&O and with our business stakeholders.

In essence, the Planning and Governance Manager is pivotal for shaping a proactive and agile P&O function. By integrating insights and driving continuous improvement, the Manager will play a key role in positioning the organization for sustainable long-term growth.

Impact You Can Create In The Role:

As a Strategic Planner,

·  Collaborate with the P&O GM and the P&O Leads to formulate the Mid-Term and Long-term Strategy Planning Activities to be translated into practical and actionable roadmaps.
·  Lead and orchestrate the People Alignment dimension of the annual budgeting process (including guidelines setting, assessment methodology, consolidation of requests and resources, implications on organization)
·  Partner with HR functional leads to consolidate key workforce information, inc. retail and office headcount evolution and cost bridge to support the yearly planning cycle.

As a Project Manager,

·  Lead and manage strategic HR projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.
·  Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve project goals and resolve any issues that arise.
·  Build active connections with other divisions to identify synergies of P&O and Business initiatives.

As a Governance Orchestrator,

·  Organizes and optimizes alignment meetings within P&O, and facilitates sessions to drive meaningful outcomes and active participation.
·  Foster collective spirit and alignment – driving engagement within the team towards shared goals and priorities.

As a Future-Oriented Analyst,

·  Builds, measures, manages the market’s people analytics to generate insights for the business by consolidating current people data from the HR functions (PE, Talent, Rewards, Ops and Workforce Data)
·  Manages the HR Data dashboard to evaluate effectiveness & impact of HR programs and deliveries.
·  Bring external knowledge into the organization to keep updated of norms, benchmarks, and trends. Manage participation in HR forums and build active connections with the wider HR community.

As a Change Agent,

·  Introduce new ways of working and works with P&O domain leads to drive their priorities.
·  Work with the internal communications manager to integrate core messages and stories into our HR programs to deliver relevancy to our employees and stakeholders.
·  On top of project management expertise – partner with Project Leads to embed Change Management Principles to ensure project success and sustainability.

What You Will Bring:

·  Proven record of high performance in top tier consulting firms or multi-national companies
·  Genuine intellectual curiosity in People and Organization insights and trends
·  Exceptional hypothesis-driven problem-solving skills; proficiency in research methodologies, data analysis tools, and insighting techniques
·  Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex matters effectively to various stakeholders
·  Initiative taker, eager to break new ground, thinking proactively
·  Ability to work effectively with people at all levels across teams in an organization
·  Fluency in English and Korean
