This will help to harmonise upstream and downstream processes within the Finance organisation, help all parts of the Chanel business to work with state-of-the-art technology, and optimise processes.
The P2P (Purchase to Pay) Process Analyst is a critical role supporting the Global P2P Process Owner in driving process improvement initiatives and activities related to global P2P processes and strategy. This role will leverage expertise in process optimization and automation to refine and implement standard methodologies for end-to-end P2P operations. The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse processes, drive efficiency, and optimize the procure-to-pay lifecycle, ensuring alignment with state-of-the-art technology solutions such as D365.
About The Role
Process Analysis and Improvement:
· Assist in mapping and documenting the current P2P process.
· Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement within the P2P process.
· Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements.
· Monitor and track the effectiveness of implemented changes.
Data Analysis:
· Collect, analyze, and interpret P2P process data to drive decision-making.
· Develop and maintain key operational and compliance performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting dashboards.
· Provide insightful reports and recommendations to the Global P2P Process Owner and stakeholders.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
· Work closely with internal stakeholders, including procurement, finance, and IT, to understand their needs and align process improvements accordingly.
· Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and present findings.
Policy and Compliance:
· Ensure that the P2P process adheres to internal policies and external regulations.
· Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory changes.
System Support:
· Provide functional support for P2P systems and tools, including Coupa, Concur, and D365.
· Contribute to the testing and implementation of system enhancements.
Risk Management and Control:
· Assist in identifying all risks in processes and implementing key controls to mitigate gaps and subsequent risks.
· Work with Internal Audit to monitor and report on the internal control process.
Communications and Training:
· Assist in writing, reviewing, and signing off process documentation and SOPs, including market localizations.
· Work with the Change and Communications Lead to ensure training materials are kept up to date as changes are implemented.
· Contribute to building a Procure to Pay process community made up of regional/market SMEs to ensure alignment across regions and share common issues and best practices.
What you will bring/have
· Experience of working in a complex, matrix organisation with a global scope.
· Expertise in influencing change on a global and local level
· Procurement and finance background with a good understanding of S2P processes and process compliance.
· Proven S2P experience with a Tier 1 platform (e.g., Coupa, Ariba, etc.).
· Proven ERP P2P experience with a Tier 1 platform (e.g., D365, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
· Experience working in a Finance / Internal Control / Procurement / P2P environment.
· Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), confidence in presenting virtually and directly to large/senior audiences.
· Detail-orientated and with good data analysis skills.
· Proactive nature, time management, prioritisation skills, and a strong customer focus.
· This role will be expected to write and speak in English. French and any additional language skills would be celebrated.
