Internship - IT Finance Domain

12-month internship – Full-time or Part-time – Mayfair, London

Targeted start date : April 2025

CHANEL operates as a federated organization with divisions and regions across the globe. Within CHANEL’s Global Corporate IT team (Corp FIT), the Finance IT domain supports key Finance functions such as Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Insurances and Internal Audit by delivering and maintaining common technologies.

As we continue to develop and implement our Finance technology roadmap, we are looking for a motivated and dynamic Intern to join our Corp FIT Finance Team . This role offers hands-on experience in Finance technology, project management, and IT operations, providing valuable exposure to real-world business challenges.

The impact you can create at Chanel

·  Support the design, development, and maintenance of Finance applications.
·  Manage and triage application incidents, ensuring proper allocation to the relevant teams.
·  Help IT Application Managers with data collection, analysis, and documentation.
·  Collaborate with the Finance and IT teams for process improvement initiatives.
·  Contribute to the development of IT documentation, including user guides, procedures, and knowledge base articles.

What you will bring

·  Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
·  Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
·  Ability to work autonomously when required
·  Organisation skills, with an ability to prioritise workloads, multitask and willing to handle complex issues
·  Analytical skills
·  Knowledge in Microsoft Office tooling (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams and SharePoint)
·  English communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
·  Experience in managing projects and coordinating across groups of people will be appreciated
·  Positive attitude, professional demeanour with enthusiasm and energy to apply technology to solve business challenges
