The Fragrance Specialist is deeply passionate about fragrances, blending a keen business acumen with a profound passion for CHANEL’s fragrance offerings. Committed to driving fragrance sales and enriching client engagement, the Fragrance Specialist serves as the ultimate expert, delivering elevated and compelling experiences that artfully showcase the unique stories behind CHANEL's fragrances and exclusive collections.

What impact you can create at CHANEL:

People & Business Development:

·  Contributes to building the business by achieving sales targets, using all levers such as product services, data capture, etc to loyalize, recruit and grow client return rate
·  Develop a strong understanding of the retailer ’ s client system to best utilize for customer outreach and retention  
·  Attends seasonal seminars hosted by Education Executives and utilizes the Inside Beauty learning tool
·  Demonstrate a deep understanding of Chanel fragrance & beauty products, with a specific emphasis on the fragrance category
·  Has solid knowledge of the Brand, its heritage and know-how, and shares it with clients and the team 
·  Support and reinforce the current Education curriculum and consistently utilize all available tools through leading by example
·  Collaborates with team members to ensure a harmonious at-counter experience 
·  Be a subject matter expert to team members on all Fragrance-related topics and services to build and strengthen their knowledge and skills enabling them to be more confident when engaging clients on Fragrance
·  Identify and communicate the effectiveness of all fragrance initiatives and strategies to the management team, collaborating on further improvements to drive success
·  Assist leadership in driving results for fragrance events, launches, visual weeks and other key moments
·  Proactively monitor fragrance performance vs. targets on a daily basis and actively take actions to identify opportunities for improvement

·  Successfully provides superior service to every client, every day through the CHANEL service ritual
·  Showcases the unique CHANEL difference by offering fragrance services and olfactive styles to the highest standards, creating strong emotional connection, and providing tailor-made client recommendations across the entire range
·  Masters the Art of Fragrance Storytelling and being a confident storyteller: leverages personal knowledge about the brand and about CHANEL fragrance, builds upon the client’s sharing, to create unique and personalized stories with and for each client
·  Introduce chosen fragrances using the corresponding storytelling, strong olfactive and emotional descriptions with a focus on driving business through our premium offerings
·  Proactively engages in clienteling actions, managing client portfolio to establish and maintain personalized relationships and strong engagement through fragrance sharing encourage loyalization
·  Collaborates on events with National Fragrance Experts to drive sales and loyalty through appointment-based experiences
·  Partners with the appropriate teams and individuals as needed
·  Upholds an omni-channel mindset to directly benefit the client, produces a seamless experience from in store to online and vice versa
·  Addresses and successfully resolves client situations according to company philosophy and standards

What you will bring to the team:

·  Role model our elevated fragrance selling services and rituals

·  Understanding of, and passion for client experience
·  Excellent communication skills
·  Foreign language skills are preferred but not required
·  Passion for the House of CHANEL, its history, product offerings, and commitment to social and cultural initiatives
·  Curiosity and desire to learn and grow professionally within the world of CHANEL
·  Articulate and knowledgeable about both cosmetics and fragrance

Position Logistics:

·  Passion for beauty, specifically the fragrance industry and its trends
·  Previous retail experience in beauty/fragrance industry is highly preferred
·  Successful completion of CHANEL Internal Fragrance Stylist Certification
·  Client-centric mindset, with a genuine eagerness and willingness to take care of the client’s needs
·  Performance-driven: Strong selling skills with a natural ability to engage/inspire through story telling
·  Ability to develop customer relationships and employ effective follow-up techniques to enhance customer loyalty and retention
·  Strong Interpersonal soft skills referring to CHANEL triptych of confidence
·  Flexible: adaptable to scheduling changes, new ideas and direction
·  Desire for continuous improvement, including actively seeking feedback for personal growth and development
·  Ability to lift-up to 10-20 pounds and stand for extended periods of time throughout the day
·  Proficient in using digital tools
·  Modeling brand image expectations in alignment with Chanel grooming guidelines
·  Demonstrate good judgement in all decision making
·  Strong organizational skills
·  Is curious to learn more to nourish a fragrance culture, being proactive in learning
·  Front of House: Full-time in-store and in-person presence required to support client sales and client service deliver elevated client service to drive business results

Compensation:

·  The anticipated base salary range for this position is $27 through $35. Base salary is one component of the total compensation for this position. Other forms of variable pay will be offered for this position. Other components will include bonus potential, benefits, and/or perks.
