Job Mission:

In the HK Skincare Therapist team, we are currently seeking a learning and development talent who is certified with a Skincare therapist background. We have a strong desire to accelerate the overall Skincare therapist community service standard from strategies, techniques, and cabin treatment to meet our growth plan in cabin services.

Therefore, we are looking for the right candidate who can further develop our HK and Macau Skincare Therapist team and lead Chanel Cabin as a renowned, prestigious, and ultra-luxury experience in the market.

Combining a passion for CHANEL skincare and for the client, the Skincare Therapist community creates a unique, exclusive, and engaging experience for each client, at every moment and at every point of sale, with a cabin treatment.  

The Salon Cabin Expert acts as lead skincare therapist to cultivate a trusting relationship with the clients today and tomorrow, embodying the House and its values and contributing to make CHANEL cabin the ultimate luxury destination for Skincare, with a focus on Skincare excellence and the responsibility to:

·  Be a CHANEL Brand and Skincare Ambassador advocate the values of the Brand and infuse CHANEL’s vision of Beauty and Skincare excellence

·  Master and promote the uniqueness of CHANEL skincare, which can provide short and long treatments (according to the local strategy) in cabins.

·  Delivers a luxury pampering experience for each client, by leveraging own expertise and through CHANEL treatments.

·  Drive the Skincare category and build CHANEL skincare credibility

·  Act as a lead coach to nurture the therapist skillsets and qualitiest

Key Responsibilities:

1. CHANEL Brand and Skincare Ambassador: the Salon Cabin Expert embodies the values of the Brand and infuses CHANEL vision of beauty and Skincare excellence

a) Full mastery in providing Skincare Therapist training, alongside support on skincare knowledge

b) Support new facial treatment launch and regular upskilling to uphold our cabin standards

c) Revamp the learning journey to uplift the learning experience:
- New skincare therapist:: Revamp the learning journey to uplift the learning experience
- Local adaptation of global/ regional learning materials to accommodate HKMO needs

- Other duties include providing inspiration, motivation, feedback, and guidance to

the skincare therapist community by sharing best practices with the team, pro-

active and contributes to nourishing the collective knowledge and skills (peer-

to-peer learning).

2.   CHANEL Beauty & Skincare Experience Creator: the Salon Cabin Expert makes each encounter with a client a unique, exclusive and engaging moment with the Brand  Elevate client experience on cabin treatments:
a)     Demonstrate expertise/ market insights to share as a master (collaborate with Skincare Learning & Development Partner on services)
b)     Strong knowledge of customer service principles and practices, with a demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer experiences
c)     Develop and lead a robust Skincare Therapist community to cultivate and exchange culture on service elevation

3.   Skincare Business Developer: the Salon Cabin Expert is develops and drives Skincare and cabin ambitions through supporting Skincare sales growth and CRM KPIs

a) Collaborate with Marketing & Retail Team on cabin treatment menu upgrade strategy

b) Understands the business objectives and one’s individual Key Performance Indicators; pro-actively monitors performance on a daily basis and suggests actions for improvement

c) Committed to cabin-related KPIs by driving and tracking cabin targets and results on regular basis, pays special attention on cabin CRM and takes relevant actions.

d) Leverages products, services, sales techniques, sampling, data capture, clienteling… to recruit, loyalize and grow client return rate.

e) Has an appropriate knowledge of cabin operations to ensure the smooth running of business.

f) Manage all cabins to meet CHANEL standards:

- By regular checkups/ rollout of mystery shopper experience program to follow up
- Cabin operations and management

- Coaching for all SCT

Role Specifications: 

- Holder of recognized practical Beauty Therapist certification;

- Good command in both Cantonese and preferably English:

- Basic Mircosoft office skills

Academic / Professional Qualifications

- Holders of internationally recognized professional cosmetology certificates such as ITEC II-IV, CIBTAC, CITY&GUILDS, NVQ Level 3 or instructor diplomas/qualifications;

Work Experience

Proven experience in a similar role as a retail services excellence trainer, preferably within the luxury beauty industry.

·  Client-centric mindset, with the eagerness and willingness to take care of client’s needs

·  High interest and passion in performing beauty therapy treatments

·  Good knowledge of skin anatomy and physiology

·  Good selling skills and is performance-driven. Retail experience a plus.
