OPERATION CONTROLLER (H/F)

Job description

Established in 2014, CGN Europe Energy (CGNEE) is a subsidiary 100% owned by CGN Group (China General Nuclear Power Corporation), world leader in the energy sector. CGN Group is diversifying its portfolio in the renewable energies sector, with CGN Europe Energy fully dedicated on the renewable energies.
In order to manage the Operations of our largest solar power station, located in Senegal, we are looking for an OPERATION CONTROLLER
Role :
Within the Engineering and Operations Department, you are in charge:
- Of the operation of one of the production sites based in Senegal (You guarantee the respect of the objectives defined in terms of production, budget and security)
- To provide technical support to the study of solar projects under development, construction, or acquisition, in coordination with our teams based in France
Missions :
1/ Supervision of the operation of a solar power station in Senegal:
- Manage collaboration and partnership with our operating assistance subcontractors
- Regularly inspect our wind farms with the support of our operations managers
- Follow up (track) the performance
- Planning and optimization of the operation and maintenance
- Analyze the production data and sensors of our solar power station
- Track budgets, operating costs and order procedure
- Supervise the operation and maintenance service offered by contractor
- Operate the SCADA, telemanagement systems, substation and high voltage system.
- Maintain the relationship with local government and grid company
2/ Technical support for the study of solar projects
- Review electrical diagrams
- Calculate solar power
- Review technical reports
Profile :
- Engineer or Technician with Experience from Solar or electrical company or control office (Bureau Veritas, Apave…)
- Technical Skills in renewable energy and data analysis, Solar technology, Substation, High Voltage
- Highly motivated, autonomous & diligent
- Communication, organizational, relational and problem-solving skills
- Conversant with computers and possesses working knowledge of Microsoft Office, and technical software
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Fluent in English and French
