Test Automation Lead

Position Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Automation Lead to drive our automation strategy, frameworks, and quality engineering practices across projects. The ideal candidate will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust test automation solutions, support continuous integration and delivery pipelines, and mentor the QA team in adopting automation-first approaches. This position requires a strong technical background and the ability to collaborate across development, DevOps, and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end test automation strategy, framework development, and execution.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for web, API, mobile, and/or backend applications.
• Build scalable automation frameworks and integrate them with CI/CD pipelines.
• Define quality metrics and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure product readiness for release.
• Perform code reviews, optimize test scripts, and ensure automation reliability and performance.
• Identify test coverage gaps and drive automation to reduce manual testing efforts.
• Mentor and coach QA engineers on automation tools, best practices, and coding standards.
• Work closely with Developers, DevOps, and Product Owners to ensure seamless testing processes.
• Evaluate and implement new tools, technologies, and frameworks to improve automation efficiency.
• Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and defect triaging for automation failures.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

1. Experience in Automation testing (Playwright, C#)
2. Hands on 2-3 experience in DevOps (Jenkins)
3. Hands on 2-3 experience in SQL (Oracle DB)
4. Experienced in CCB (Oracle Customer Care and Billing) is a plus
5. Test Architect experience is a plus
