Position Description:

CGI is seeking a Test Automation Lead to provide automated solutions for key projects within DPaAS (Data Platform and Analytics engineering). Will primarily be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing solutions using Opkey's test automation platform (Opkey is a third-party test automation tool being used in Finance Cloud Enablement program). This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality through efficient automation processes.

This position involves creating and executing test scripts, analyzing test results. Will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, adapting to evolving project requirements and technology trends. Overseeing the integration of Opkey with enterprise systems (e.g. Oracle, EPM,) reporting tools (BI, Tableau) and other tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, JIRA) to ensure seamless test execution and reporting.

This position is located in our Lafayette, LA, Belton, TX or Knoxville, TN offices, however a hybrid working model is acceptable.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Opkey's automation tools.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and create test plans.
• Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects or issues.
• Report and track defects, and work with Functional/development team to resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain and update test automation frameworks to ensure alignment with new features.
• Document test cases, scripts, and results for future reference and audits.
• Continuously improve test automation processes and methodologies.
• Optimize test scripts and frameworks for performance and reliability. Implement strategies to reduce test execution times and improve test coverage.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on automation best practices.
• Assist in troubleshooting and debugging issues identified during testing.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in test automation technologies.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Proficiency in using Opkey or similar automation tools.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Experience in developing and executing automated test scripts.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#
• Familiarity with ERP systems and their workflows.
• Familiarity with Agile development processes and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Able to clearly write functional & technical specifications.

• Excellent analytical/troubleshooting skills.

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to: skill set level; experience and training; and licensure and certifications. CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $49,400- $118,700.
