Position Description:

CGI is seeking a Technical Project Manager with deep experience managing technical projects, with a focus on implementing a unified events platform and surrounding integrations. As a technical project manager, you will work with a diverse project team to drive project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring/controlling, budget, reports and closure. The role is a significant position that involves working with all levels of stakeholders, executive, business, technology and data SMEs by developing and implementing solutions in a complex, highly dynamic environment.

This position is located at the client site in Alexandria, VA; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Coordinating with cross discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
• Leads efforts to monitor scope, cost, schedule, and performance of a project team, and be responsible for regular interactions with clients, stakeholders, and suppliers/subcontractors.
• Plans and schedules project activities with specific implementation of an event platform and integration solutions.
• Accountable for quality management and adhering to quality assurance (QA) processes
• Negotiates timelines with key stakeholders and resolves resource conflicts
• Provides status regarding project health to clients and key stakeholders
• Ensures deliverables are produced and delivered in an agile fashion
• Establishes effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution.
• Facilitate change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.
• Critically evaluates information gathered from multiple sources, reconciles conflicts, decomposes high-level information into details, distinguishes user requests from the underlying true needs, and validates requests in JIRA ticketing system.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Knowledge and experience in events platforms like Cvent and RainFocus
• Knowledge and experience with integration platforms like Mulesoft
• Advanced written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Excellent leadership and experience working with cross-functional resources
• Timely, decisive, and effective problem-solving skills
• Solid project management skills related to project planning and control, scope management, issue and risk management, and quality management
• Business process analysis and redesign experience: strong business analysis skills; process mapping; data querying; business process redesign and implementation.
• Managing technical application development/software development type projects
• Agile product development skills: participation in agile SCRUM teams and agile ceremonies
• Strong understanding of systems and their underlying data structures and technologies to be able to provide technology solutions.
• Systems implementation skills: requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change management, and support.
• Business process analysis and redesign experience: strong business analysis skills; process mapping; data querying; business process redesign and implementation.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and/or Information Technology or equivalent experience

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to: skill set level; experience and training; and licensure and certifications. CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $85,800 - $202,700.
