The Technical People Manager is a dual-impact role designed for a leader who can maintain technical excellence while championing the growth and well-being of a diverse engineering team. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between business requirements and technical execution, ensuring that your team stays motivated, high-performing, and aligned with the organization's strategic goals.

Job Role/ future duties and responsibilities 

Team Leadership & People Growth
. Mentorship: Conduct impactful 1-on-1 sessions to discuss career aspirations, provide constructive feedback, and remove blockers
. Performance Management: Set clear KPIs/OKRs and manage the annual appraisal cycle, ensuring a fair and meritocratic environment
. Culture Building: Foster a culture of psychological safety, inclusivity, and continuous learning
. Talent Cultivation: Build a "future-ready" pipeline by mentoring engineers in cross-functional skills (Full-stack, Cloud-native, and AI-literacy)
. Hybrid Leadership: Effectively manage high-performing distributed teams across India's major tech hubs, ensuring consistent culture and communication.

Technical Governance
. Architecture & Standards: Participate in high-level architectural discussions and code reviews to ensure scalability, security, and maintainability
. Delivery Excellence: Oversee the end-to-end SDLC, managing sprint planning, capacity, and velocity to meet project deadlines
. Technical Debt: Balance the need for rapid feature delivery with the long-term health of the codebase
. Customer Centricity: Collaborate closely with Product Managers to ensure the engineering team understands the "Why" behind every "What."
. AI Proficiency & Future-Proofed Strategy: Lead the adoption of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Devin) to increase team velocity and code quality
. Stay Ahead: Continuously scan the horizon for emerging tech (Generative AI, Web3, Edge Computing) to ensure the stack remains competitive

Strategic Coordination
. Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for Product Managers, Clients, and Senior Leadership
. Communication: Simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment on timelines and risks

Technical Skills Required
. Back-End: Java 11/17+, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Hibernate/JPA
. Front-End: Angular (preferred), React.js, or Vue.js; HTML5, CSS3 (SASS/LESS), and TypeScript
. Microservices: Experience with Spring Cloud, Docker, and Kubernetes
. Database: Strong knowledge of RDBMS (Oracle/PostgreSQL) and exposure to NoSQL
. Cloud: Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
. Tools: Git, Jenkins/GitLab CI, Maven/Gradle, and JIRA
