We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Managed Security Services (MSS) team in Ottawa as a Security Operations Support - Support Analyst.
The Opportunity: The Security Operations Support - Support Analyst will:
• Assist in administrating the team’s centralized Outlook mailboxes
• Perform account management administration tasks for a wide range of systems
• Complete incident and service requests within established SLA’s
• Create and update various documents including SOP’s
• Answer client inquiries
• Web Portal setup and administration
• Swivel ticket information between ITSM tools
• Successful candidate will be expected to suggest and lead initiatives to improve the teams productivity
• Performs other related duties as assigned by the Team Lead or Manager
• The successful candidate must be available to cover early or late day work schedules as requiredThe Team: Managed Security Services (MSS) team includes Security Operation Centers, Deployment and Support, Business Management, and Business Growth teams. Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Experience, Education and skills:
• Previous experience in IT (Information Technology) and an interest in IT Security are considered an asset.
• Completion or in the process of completing a post-secondary educational program in IT Security or Computer related field from a recognized community college or university is considered an asset
• Experience with ticketing tools, including Remedy is considered an asset
• Strong organizational skills with an eye for details and able to multitask
• The successful candidate must be self-motivated, and driven to succeed
• Government of Canada Secret Clearance is required (or the ability to obtain one)
• Ability to speak and write in both official languages is considered an asset Build your career with us.
