We are Canada's largest independent information technology services firm, and after 40 years, we're still growing! We have a challenging career opportunity for a Jr. FullStack Developer to work for our clients across our Banking and Wealth 360 Digital Wealth Product.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Knowledge/Experience in full-stack development
• Experience with hands-on design & development
• Good understanding of key concepts of architecture in a distributed environment
• Object-oriented programming, design patterns, performance tuning, Web Services, Micro Services, Responsive Web Design
• Experience in technology implementation: Java, Spring ( Spring Boot, Spring MVC ), Hibernate/MyBatis,
JSP, Servlet, Beans, Angular JS, Angular 6.x, HTML5, CSS3
• Experience with development life cycle including:
o Source control (Subversion, BitBucket, Git, etc.)
o Builds and build delivery ( Jenkins, Maven, Ant, etc.)
o Development of unit tests ( JUnit, TDD, Mockito, etc.)
• Knowledge of XML , XSLT , XML Schema and JSON
• Experience in developing webpages/websites (Single page application, Progressive Web Applications, Enterprise web applications )
• Experience working with middleware/web server: WebLogic (an asset), Websphere, JBoss, Tomcat
• Some programming experience with Oracle PL / SQL or MS SQL or SQL in general
• Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Java Swing, JQuery, BootStrap, Angular Material
• Experience in debugging and troubleshooting complex distributed systems.
• Proven ability to write high-quality technical documentation
• A hands-on leader (able to code, able to dig deep)

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $18-32/hour. This role is an existing vacancy.
