Sr. Business Systems Analyst (AML/Regulatory/ Reporting)

Position Description:

This role is hybrid and requires you to be in our downtown Toronto office (250 Yonge Street) / client address (155 Wellington St W) 3 times per week - subject to change at any time.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Communicate with the business client and collect the requirements, and analyze those requirements.
• Create the Business Requirement document and User Stories
• Effectively ensures the completeness of data and identifies the issues (Data Analysis) from Multiple sources.
• Able to perform the Data Lineage and Data Reconciliation Activities.
• Works closely with business clients to understand priorities and impact, and provides timely and accurate reports to management and end-users on the status of critical systems processes.
• Proactively identifies and acts on emerging issues (and works with Development teams) to resolve them in the short and long term.
• Can learn about multiple applications and systems
• Actively participate in Agile development projects.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Requirements:
• Familiarity with Python
• Familiarity with SQL database and SQL queries.
• Experience with Agile projects, using Jira, creating user stories, and overall knowledge of the Agile Framework and Iterative Waterfall
• Familiarity with gathering, analyzing, and documenting business rules for processing data.
• AML/Banking experience, regulatory/ reporting/ data experience.
