We are on the look-out for a seasoned Senior Business Analyst to join our team. The Business Analyst provides business teams with a high quality and consistent level of proactive and professional IT service, in an effort to maintain the technology needs that run their businesses. You will work to create and maintain positive business relationships that bolster open communication, reliability, trust, and service loyalty. The work in the Program will be varied and complex, requiring initiative and judgment.
This opportunity requires that the candidate work onsite in our office located in the Fort Lauderdale area, FL.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Document business and system processes and business requirements
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate stakeholders
• Study, understand and document User Stories, business processes, non-functional requirements, system capabilities, customization, integration, process design and system implementations
• Perform requirements gathering / clarifications with technical team, leveraging agile techniques
• Collaborate with external and internal stakeholders and vendors to analyze business needs and work with teams on solutions
• Work with implementation partners to ensure a smooth project / product teams go live(s)
• Lead assigned initiatives. Communicate status, issues or risks to management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with technology teams, business teams, vendors and subject matter experts to perform daily activities
• Serve as the conduit between the business partners and the technical team through triage, research, requirements, testing, and support
• Be accountable for properly following all IT standards, processes and methodologies as applicable including but not limited to Quality Assurance (QA), Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC) and Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Cross-training to learn applications across the assigned Business Unit application portfolio
• Learn the processes and tools needed to perform the role effectively
• Accountable for managing and delivering the support requests for assigned Business Unit and related requests. This includes the planning, troubleshooting, solving, and communicating of a variety of requests, incidents, and problems independently within multiple areas.
• Identify the business impact of system issues and facilitate communication as appropriate to stakeholders
• Perform rotating on-call responsibilities
• Engage and communicate with senior management as appropriate
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• 5+ years as Business Analyst working on projects or product teams; leveraging different methodologies·
• Experience with end-to-end implementation projects including design, configuration, testing, training, cutover & reporting·
• Proven ability to provide business analysis and/or system development/configuration deliverables related to process improvement·
• Experience with Software and Systems development life cycle·
• Ability to produce Business Requirements/User Stories and working knowledge of working with QA Resources in coming up with the test cases·
• Ability to produce SOP documents and be a change agent in getting those produced SOPs adopted by Business and IT Users·
• Be willing to participate in On-call rotation and perform validation of applications· Leading the triage of Issue resolution and communicate effectively with both Business and IT teams·
• Maintaining a calming demeanor in fast moving situations· Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills along with great presentation skills· Effective listener and good analytical skills·
• Certifications like CBAP etc. preferred
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $70,500 - $195,200.
