Our team contributes to large-scale, strategic projects across diverse sectors such as finance, public services, energy, and telecommunications. As a Solution Architect, you will play a key role in designing robust, sustainable solutions aligned with our clients’ business objectives.

We are looking for candidates at various levels of experience, with a minimum of 2 years in solution or application architecture, and a solid background in software development (Java or .NET).

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Direct multiple projects, guide resources and monitor the quality and acceptance of the solution process.
• Follow the detailed design to implementation to ensure conformance and consistency of services delivery;
• Ability to work with business partners to identify project risks, constraints and dependencies
• Provide guidance to a customer and project team with respect to data requirements, data gaps and level of effort required to deliver a solution
• Lead in designing, modeling, specifying and selecting information system solutions, considering functionality, data, security, integration, infrastructure and performance.
• Assess opportunities for application and process improvement and prepare documentation of rationale to share with team members and other impacted parties
• Is able to effectively interact with content team, product team, business, IT, Infrastructure team to capture the requirements and come up with the right solution.
• Pre-select and compare potential technical solutions including software selection when needed
• Together with the team, help refine the organization’s future by providing architectural conception of the solution.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

- At least 2 years of experience in solution or application architecture
- 7 to 10 years of experience in software development (Java or .NET)
- Strong analytical and modeling skills for complex systems
- Team spirit, natural leadership, and a drive for continuous improvement
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP is an asset)
- Excellent communication skills in both French and English (spoken and written)

Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position due to the nature of the role requiring interaction with national and global clients.

Use of the term ‘architect’ in this job posting refers to the technical sense related to Information Technology (IT) and does not imply that the individual practices architecture or possesses the requisite license as prescribed by the applicable provincial or territorial architect regulator. We are seeking individuals with expertise in IT architect-related functions, but licensure from an architect regulator is not a prerequisite for this position. Architecture is a regulated profession in Canada which is restricted in terms of use of titles and designation.
