Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

. Design, develop, and maintain Python based automated test frameworks for robotic and AI enabled systems.
. Create and execute functional, integration, system, regression, performance, and reliability tests.
. Develop automated tests to validate AI/ML model behavior, inference results, accuracy, robustness, and edge cases.
. Validate AI models against defined acceptance criteria, datasets, expected outputs, and performance thresholds.
. Test the integration of AI models with robotic hardware, software, sensors, and control systems.
. Develop test scenarios covering normal, boundary, failure, and unexpected operating conditions.
. Automate end to end testing across robot software, APIs, AI components, and hardware interfaces.
. Analyze test failures using logs, telemetry, stack traces, model outputs, and system behavior to identify root causes.
. Collaborate with Software Engineers, Robotics Engineers, ML Engineers, Data Scientists, and Product teams to resolve defects.
. Build and maintain automated regression suites and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
. Perform API and data validation for AI/robotics services.
. Contribute to test strategy, test plans, test cases, automation architecture, and quality metrics.
. Monitor AI model performance across different datasets, environments, and software/model versions.
. Identify gaps in test coverage and continuously improve test automation, reliability, and defect detection.
. Document defects with clear reproduction steps, logs, test evidence, and impact analysis.
. Support release qualification and production readiness testing for AI powered robotic systems.
. Stay current with emerging AI/ML testing techniques, robotics technologies, and test automation practices.

 

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Must to Have Skills

. Strong proficiency in Python with hands on experience in test automation and scripting.
. 3+ years of experience in QA/Test Automation, preferably in robotics, embedded systems, or intelligent systems.
. Strong experience with Python testing frameworks such as PyTest, Unittest, Robot Framework, or equivalent.
. Hands on experience developing and maintaining automated test frameworks and test suites.
. Experience testing AI/ML models, including model validation, inference testing, accuracy/precision/recall evaluation, and edge case testing.
. Understanding of AI/ML concepts, model inputs/outputs, data validation, and model performance metrics.
. Experience testing robotics systems, including sensors, actuators, motion control, navigation, or perception components.
. Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, databases, and system level integration testing.
. Experience with Linux/Ubuntu, command line tools, scripting, and debugging.
. Experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar.
. Ability to analyze test failures, identify root causes, and work closely with developers and ML engineers to resolve defects.
. Strong understanding of STLC, test planning, test case design, regression testing, integration testing, and defect lifecycle.
. Good problem solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Nice to Have Skills

. Experience with ROS/ROS2 and robotics simulation environments such as Gazebo or Isaac Sim.
. Knowledge of Computer Vision, NLP, Generative AI, LLMs, or Deep Learning.
. Experience testing LLM/AI applications, including prompt validation, response evaluation, hallucination testing, and safety/robustness testing.
. Familiarity with PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenCV, NumPy, and Pandas.
. Experience with AI model serving/inference platforms and APIs.
. Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
. Experience with hardware in the loop (HIL), software in the loop (SIL), or simulation based testing.
. Familiarity with robot telemetry, logs, sensor data, and real time systems.
. Knowledge of performance, stress, reliability, and scalability testing.
. Experience with test reporting and tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Allure, or similar.
. Understanding of MLOps/model lifecycle concepts and automated model validation pipelines.
