Position Description: We are looking for a Java Backend Developer with strong experience in enterprise application development, Spring Boot, microservices, databases, Kafka, and AWS cloud services.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications
• Build scalable and resilient microservices using Spring Boot
• Develop, optimize, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services
• Design and implement data models using PostgreSQL and MongoDB
• Implement event-driven architectures and messaging solutions using Kafka
• Monitor and troubleshoot production applications using Dynatrace
• Perform performance tuning, debugging, and root cause analysis
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders
• Develop automated unit and integration test suites
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Must-Have Skills:
• Strong experience in Java 8/11/17
• Proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security
• Strong experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices
• Good understanding of distributed systems and design patterns
• Hands-on experience with Hibernate/JPA
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and MongoDB
• Experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures
• Experience with Maven or Gradle build tools
• Proficiency with Git and Jenkins
• Experience with Docker and understanding of Kubernetes fundamentals
• Experience with application monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace
Cloud & AWS Skills:
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture and deployment models
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including ECS, Lambda, RDS, SQS, and SNS
• Experience with containerized application deployment using Docker
• Understanding of Kubernetes fundamentals and container orchestration
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes
• Understanding of application scalability, reliability, and monitoring in cloud environments
Good-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with OpenShift
• Exposure to AWS/Azure cloud environments
• Knowledge of Redis caching
• Experience with Elasticsearch
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Basic understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD automation
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and distributed systems
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with architects, product owners, developers, and DevOps teams
