Senior Java Developer with French

Job description

Position Description:

We’re looking for a seasoned Senior Java Developer who is fluent in French to join our team. You’ll be working on complex, high-impact projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the architecture and development of robust Java-based applications.

The ideal candidate is not just technically sharp but also an effective communicator who can liaise with French-speaking stakeholders or clients.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications and services.

Participate in the full software development lifecycle: requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.

Collaborate with French-speaking clients and teams to understand project requirements and provide technical guidance.

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.

Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.

Troubleshoot and resolve performance and scalability issues.

Stay current with Java ecosystem trends, frameworks, and tools.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

5+ years of experience in Java development (Java 8+ preferred).

Strong knowledge of Spring Framework (Spring Boot, MVC, Security, etc.).

Experience with RESTful APIs, Microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Proficiency in relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.) and/or NoSQL databases.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, Git, Docker, etc.).

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Fluent in French and English (spoken and written).
