Position Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Cloud Developer with strong expertise in modern Java frameworks, microservices architecture, and cloud-native development. The role involves designing and building scalable, secure, and high-performing APIs and services deployed on Kubernetes environments.

The ideal candidate has deep hands-on experience in Java 21, Spring Boot, and REST API development, along with strong understanding of Kafka-based event streaming and Azure cloud ecosystems.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy microservices using Java 21 and Spring Boot.
• Build and integrate REST APIs ensuring scalability, reusability, and secure access.
• Develop and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and Helm charts.
• Implement event-driven architectures using Confluent Kafka and optionally Kafka Connect.
• Work with RDBMS systems (preferably Azure SQL Server) for data storage and retrieval.
• Apply OAuth2 and API Management best practices for authentication and access control.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Cloud Engineering teams for CI/CD, deployments, and observability.
• Participate in API performance tuning, resilience engineering, and reliability improvement initiatives.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code aligned with engineering standards.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Strong proficiency in Java (Java 21 preferred) and Spring Boot.
• Proven experience in microservices development and API integration.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes and Helm for deployment and orchestration.
• Experience with Confluent Kafka for message streaming and event-driven processing.
• Hands-on experience with Azure SQL Server or similar RDBMS.
• Familiarity with OAuth2, JWT, and API Gateway/Management tools.
• Strong understanding of software design principles, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud architecture.

Nice-to-Have:
• Experience with Kafka Connect for data pipeline integrations.
• Exposure to performance tuning, caching, and reliability engineering.
• Knowledge of Azure or Google cloud services
