Position Description:

We are seeking a highly capable Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team in a hands-on engineering role focused on designing, developing, and delivering modern, scalable applications. This position is ideal for a strong developer who brings depth across front-end and back-end technologies and is comfortable working in a collaborative, Agile delivery environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in building responsive user interfaces, designing and integrating APIs and microservices, supporting database-driven applications, and contributing to cloud-native deployment and CI/CD practices. This role requires a strong technical foundation, a problem-solving mindset, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, maintainable solutions

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain modern web applications and backend services.
• Build responsive front-end solutions using React or Angular, along with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Design, build, and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Work with backend technologies such as Python (Flask/FastAPI) and/or Java/Spring Boot.
• Manage integrations with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
• Contribute to testing, debugging, code reviews, and performance optimization.
• Support deployments through CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud/platform environments such as Azure, AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
• Collaborate effectively within Agile delivery team.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Strong hands-on experience in full stack development.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5 or CSS3.
• Experience with React or Angular.
• Experience with REST APIs, backend services, and microservices.
• Experience with Python and/or Java/Spring Boot.
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases; familiarity with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and containerization tools such as Docker.
• Familiarity with cloud or platform environments.

• Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, Flyway
• OAuth, JWT
• Additional front-end exposure such as Vue.js or jQuery

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,000–$130,000. This role is an existing vacancy
