Job Overview:
CGI is looking for a talented and motivated Senior Data Analyst with strong expertise in ETL, SQL, Teradata to build and manage scalable, efficient, and reliable data pipelines and infrastructure. You’ll play a key role in transforming raw data into actionable insights, working closely with data scientists, analysts, and business teams.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

We are seeking an 6+ years experienced Data Analyst with strong expertise in Informatica ETL, Teradata Database, and SQL to support enterprise data integration, analysis, and reporting initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing ETL workflows, validating data quality, optimizing SQL queries, and collaborating with business stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable data solutions.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical data solutions.
Design, develop, enhance, and support ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter.
Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for data extraction, transformation, and validation.
Perform data analysis and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across multiple systems.
Work with Teradata databases for data loading, performance tuning, and optimization.
Perform source-to-target mapping, data profiling, and reconciliation activities.
Troubleshoot ETL failures and resolve production issues within defined SLAs.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

6–8 years of experience in Data Analysis and ETL development.
Strong hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter.
Expertise in Teradata Database and performance optimization.
Advanced knowledge of SQL, including joins, window functions, CTEs, stored procedures, and query tuning.
Good understanding of Data Warehousing concepts (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Facts & Dimensions).
Experience in data validation, reconciliation, and defect analysis.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
