Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Job Description:
• System Configuration and Maintenance: SCCM Administrators configure and maintain the SCCM environment, ensuring it is up-to-date and optimized for performance.
• This includes installing updates, patches, and service packs and performing regular system backups to safeguard data.
• Software Deployment: They deploy software applications to devices within the organization. They create and test deployment packages, ensuring they are compatible with different systems and meet user requirements.
• Patch Management: They manage and deploy patches to keep systems secure and up-to-date. They schedule and monitor patch installations, identify vulnerabilities, and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the process.
• Operating System Deployment (OSD): They are responsible for deploying Operating Systems to new devices or upgrading existing systems. They create and configure task sequences to automate the installation process and ensure a quick transition for end-users.
• Device Management: They monitor devices within the organization, ensuring they comply with security policies and configurations. They track device inventory, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and provide technical support to end-users.
• Security and Compliance: Ensuring the security of IT systems is a critical responsibility of an SCCM Administrator. They implement security policies, monitor system logs, and perform vulnerability assessments to protect the organization’s data and infrastructure.
• Reporting and Documentation: They generate reports and documentation to provide insights into system performance, software deployments, and compliance status. They use SCCM's reporting tools to create customized reports that help management make informed decisions
Behavioral Competencies :
• Proven experience of delivering process efficiencies and improvements
• Clear and fluent English (both verbal and written)
• Ability to build and maintain efficient working relationships with remote teams
• Demonstrate ability to take ownership of and accountability for relevant products and services
• Ability to plan, prioritise and complete your own work, whilst remaining a team player
• Willingness to engage with and work in other technologies
