Position Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SAS and Cloud Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAS programming, administration, and cloud technologies, with a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions in complex environments.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
SAS Administration:
- Manage and maintain the SAS 9.4 platform, including software installations, upgrades, and configuration.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance optimizations.
- Administer SAS Anti-Money Laundering solutions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical support to users, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
Cloud Administration:
- Manage and administer cloud environments, such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Provision and configure cloud resources, including virtual machines, storage, and networking.
- Implement and maintain cloud security best practices.
-Monitor cloud resource usage and optimize costs.
Data Engineering:
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data into data warehouses and data marts.
- Collaborate with data analysts and business users to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Optimize data pipelines for performance and scalability.
Problem-Solving:
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues.
- Analyze system logs and performance metrics to identify potential problems.
- Implement proactive monitoring and alerting systems to minimize downtime.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, developers, and business users.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Share knowledge and best practices with team members.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in SAS programming and administration.
- 3+ years of experience in cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Strong understanding of data warehousing and ETL concepts.
- Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (Python, PowerShell).
-Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems.
- Knowledge of ITIL and other IT service management frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in SAS, cloud platforms, or data engineering.
- Experience with Hadoop, Spark, or other big data technologies.
- Familiarity with machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts.
- Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
LANGUAGE: French English*
Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, is a requirement as the person in this position will need to collaborate regularly with colleagues and partners in the United States.
