Position Description:
As a functional administrator, you will ensure the smooth functioning of the Financial Consolidation tool and provide level 1 support to users during quarterly closings.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
You will actively participate in the following:
Quarterly closings
Create and manage the data entry environment.
Create and manage the consolidation environment (exchange rates, scopes, consolidation definitions).
Manage the security module (owner groups, functional profiles, data access groups).
Provide basic support to application users (credentials management, blocking controls solving, etc.).
Ensure correct transfer of data between the consolidation tool and other applications/databases (ERPs, data warehouses) while guaranteeing data quality.
Monitor the application through the administration console.
Process improvements
Contribute to implementation of process improvements.
Update and enrich technical documentation.
Data knowledge development and business skills acquisition
Apply knowledge to improve and enrich the data model to fit user needs.
You will work in close collaboration with other departments: consolidation team, management accounting, IT, etc.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Background
Professional / Academic
Financial and accounting knowledge.
Interest in information systems.
Around 3–4 years of experience in a similar position.
Skills
Technical Skills
Knowledge of SAP Financial Consolidation (not mandatory but an advantage).
Interest and knowledge in data modeling and database architecture.
Basic consolidation knowledge.
Basic knowledge of IFRS standards.
Soft Skills
Strong collaboration and organizational skills.
Ability to synthesize and communicate key messages effectively.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Languages
English – B2 minimum (C1 preferred if French is not spoken).
French – B2 ideal (or B1 with willingness to improve).
Tools
Accounting and EPM tools (SAP FC or similar, Hyperion, Oracle, Tagetik, etc.).
Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Data tools (SAS, Python, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Dataiku, etc.).
Must be physically in Portugal, and a work at the office 3/5 days a week
