Your future duties and responsibilities:
Modern public sector organizations are undergoing major digital transformation initiatives. Ministries and government agencies are modernizing their application landscapes, adopting cloud-based solutions, and optimizing critical business services to increase efficiency, agility, and service quality. As an SAP Service Delivery Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery and continuous improvement of business-critical SAP and enterprise application services for our clients. You will act as a trusted advisor, working closely with customers, delivery teams, and stakeholders to drive operational excellence, service quality, and long-term client satisfaction. This role combines service management, client engagement, and strategic consulting in complex enterprise environments.
· Managing SAP/application service delivery projects in close collaboration with delivery and support teams
· Ensuring SLA compliance and transparent communication toward clients and stakeholders
· Driving high-quality delivery of contracted application services within agreed financial targets
· Acting as the primary escalation point for clients regarding SAP/application services
· Building and maintaining trusted client relationships, including communication with senior stakeholders and CxO-level contacts
· Organizing and leading regular service governance meetings (e.g. Service Delivery Boards)
· Identifying opportunities for service optimization, automation, and continuous improvement
· Coordinating change requests and introducing new service components based on client needs
· Driving cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing accounts
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
· Experience in Service Delivery Management, Application Management, or Managed Services environments
· Degree in Information Technology, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
· Strong experience with SAP environments and enterprise applications
· Experience working with application outsourcing or application managed services
· Proven experience managing client relationships in complex enterprise environments
· Strong understanding of ITIL-based service management processes
· Experience leading virtual or international teams is considered a plus
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
· Fluent German and English skills (written and spoken) - German is mandatory
